Trans-Warhol 3.0

Rosa Riss
On the occasion of the inauguration of the new space of the Fluxum Foundation located in the Quartier des Bains, the choreographer Nicolas Musin, two dancers and a DJ reinterpreted the Trans-Warhol creation of 2007 based on the book written by Kenneth Goldsmith I 'll be your mirror: the selected Andy Warhol interviews. A transdisciplinary creation inspired by the unique personality of American artist Andy Warhol, pioneer of artistic marketing.
Located at the heart of institutions, Fluxum Foundation has thus been able to highlight its archives, share a place of reference for research in the field of dance and performance, develop more than ever its commitment in the heart of the city, at the crossroads of contemporary and living arts, as close as possible of its partners.
In parallel, the Fluxum Foundation presented the reinterpretation of the performance Trans-Warhol on the occasion of the opening of the exhibition Warhol 1968 at the Moderna Museet in Malmö.
This performance was preceded by a workshop with students from the Copenhagen Business School orchestrated by Pierre Guillet de Monthoux (professor, director of the CBS Art Initiative) on the influence of Warhol and our understanding of the relationship between art and business.
