« EntreTemps: Les Danses Contemporaines d’Antan »
A history that originates in the folklore of the countries of Europe to be part of a contemporary approach. Our first aspiration, open the possibilities of artistic diversity to promote social cohesion. The dancers are invited to leave their comfort zone in order to develop a common language, accessible to an uninformed audience. This creation oscillates between the cultural practices of traditional societies and modern life in a non-professional context.
The EntreTemps project offers a space for amateur dancers to express their inheritance in perpetual evolution. The aim is to create a contemporary dance performance inspired by European folk dances, with the will to use the movement as a means of linking these dances in order to make a performance. This project aims to give a strong positive message in a difficult socio-economic context that generates many identity tensions. The heart of the project has its roots in the collective to promote the best living together. Also the choice of staging traditional European dances is not insignificant. At a time when many countries are questioning the identity or even the future of the old continent, the valorisation of an intercultural and intergenerational artistic process makes sense and must make it possible to challenge people on the theme of difference.
