Perfusions

Carmen Campo Real expresses herself on the strong messages in her book of poetry, Perfusions.
The poems punctuate a soundtrack that surrounds us and carries us on an emotionally packed journey.
Every word is danced, “Krumped,” like a silent reading to accompany their powerful simplicity. She is joined in the performance by Houssine Khald, a dancer in residence at the Flux Laboratory, who also wrote the choreography for this silent piece.
Perfusions explores the dimensions of happiness, hope, and fear that surround our daily lives. The final goal of the poems is to shed light on the period we live in.
The end result is that the reader no longer knows what emotion he feels, who he really is, or what the main point is.
