Archivage de la collection privée de Sigurd Leeder

The Swiss dance archives were founded in 1993 by Jean-Pierre Pastori with the goal of preserving the heritage of Swiss choreography. Dance is an ephemeral art that is hard to record and transmit. So it is essential to archive documents related to dance.
In 2010 the archives received the major private collection of Sigurd Leeder, a great German dancer, choreographer, and instructor. He was an expressive dance pioneer in the first half of the 20th century.
Because it was so vast, Sigurd Leeder’s collection required major archiving work. FLUXUM Foundation sponsored the work, which will allow the public access to all the documents on this seminal figure in German dance.
