THELMA, is a duet for a woman and a man exploring the ambivalence of woman in the Black Films of the fifties. A choreographic fiction freely inspired by R. Siodmak's The File on Thelma Jordon, she aims to explore power relationships between women and men, beauty as a double-edged sword, violence as a last resort. In the course of paintings, THELMA is constructed as a fatal, mysterious and elusive woman, and confronts herself with the relation to the other and especially loving and seductive.

THELMA is supported by the Fluxum Foundation, Loterie Romande and Nestlé Fondation pour l’Art.
